hmm..today was the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! so dead today..hahaha.. got kinda LAME..
anyways, the whole day was kinda boring and despite sleeping only FOUR+ hours, i was able to NOT sleep in math class! can you believe that? its like..wow! haha..and english wasn't boring either! cause we had DEBATE today!!! the topic was "should girls serve NS"
and it was sooooo AWESOME!!! why? cause the class came up with quite a few facts which were..great! =)
i was on the whole put girls in a place whereby they can better contribute their skills to society instead of physically. as in, there are so many aspects of civil defence! girls don't necessarilly have to be on the military defence. as in, they could be in econimical defence and what not. eg. there are so many rising buisnesswomen nowadays. why dampen their chances by making them serve NS? its ridiculous! also, girls are not built physically for rough training. as in, we're supposed to be the home makers, good wives etc. the perfect example of perfection. we with the hour glass figures and everything, arnt just cut out to do military stuff. of course, some would say that it is a time for a change; that girls arn't the weaker sex. but sheesh. be realistic! we're not phyiscally built for this. stick us at some area whereby we would contribute to the best. plus with children to bring up or give birth to, do you seriously want us to serve NS? come on mann!!! and which guy or girl for that matter likes a woman with MUSCLES? haha..its hilarious! hahaha..so thats what made the debate so interesting! =)

today after school, weiyang bought a bday cake for pz!!! so cool! it was her bday today! so cool. so yeahhx. and so, we sang the bday song, ate the cake etc. then i went down to the canteen to meet nigel etc. they were talking about HSM!!! sooooo COOL!!!! HSM ROX! anyways, we started talking about hsm like crazy! =) and it was fun. then we had the whole K-U-Z-C-O kuzco kuzco go go!!! hahaha..the emperor's new school kinda thing. so cool! during pe, cheryl and i were going nutx about it and khai learnt it frm me during recess!!! it was FUN! haaha..
we decided to go to the band room early. at about.. what.. abit pass 2.30? hahaha...then we spent our time crapping and all that. hehex. so it was pretty fun..UNTIL we had to FALL IN! sigh* the band is getting so strict mann... we must call jo, my bestfren, my go-crazy-together partner... my fren!!! then wahhx..she SHOUT and then become like jian yu when he was drum major mann!!! SO FREAKY! but she had to cause like..jasmine cher, blanche, edna n hx didn't wana run. o well..the attendance was very bad today..so mr fahmi was very frustrated so he sent us out for sectionals. so we went for sectionals and i seasoned my reed.. again.. very stressed. i don't know if i can get a good reed sound by the next band prac. so i'll have to soak my reed EVERYDAY... sigh* o well... yepx. in the end, the band played st petersburg TOGETHER as a band without mr fahmi! we were like..playing at the side and wow! we were loud..but we didn't sound good. all of a sudd, the band doesn't sound good anymore.. very weird..don't know why also.. sigh* i hope we can do it..

anyways, mrs quek gave us quite a lecture on the whole band thing. and i must admit, shes right. the level of commitment in the band is just, not there. some people are very enthu but some people aren't and that makes it very hard for the band to perform together. sigh* WE CAN DO IT!!! BGCB WILL DO IT! hahaha.. we believe we can do it and we will and can do it!!! go bgcb!!!
