5 days have come and gone and i really must say, i still miss da gama!!! o mann..
i really really really really can't wait for 13th december cause thats when we're gona have a da gama gathering. its been real nice in obs as in dang. i miss my team!!! there were like 15 of us: syra, rayhana, siti, ba, jacob, baidul, rajan, zg, fiona, gloria, nigel, xue ying, jo and MEE!!! lolx. it was dead fun. i can't believe it has been 5 days since. i still miss jo's weird weird laugh and the berak group. day 3 was the funnest day ever! we navigated and camped with other groups. i especially loved the night time!!! we actually had a mini campfire.. or sort of. that night was one of the best nights!!! our group finished dinner first and we had quite alot of left overs so we shared it with armstrong, our buddy group. i had nothing better to do so i talked to marcus. its dead easy to make him lose his appetite. i was like shining and shining and talking about how the food was so gross etc etc and it was real funny cause he actually wanted to eat it but after my great persuasion, decided to stop. lolx. ok. i shall not rant about OBS. im supposed to talk about the eco camp!!!

ok, i met peizhi at 6.35 at bedok mrt. on our way to clementi mrt station, i touched up on the costume and did the scarf etc. it was real great and well designed. i couldn't believe i was going to have to WEAR it. like, EWW! but it was very nice. we went to register at ngee ann poly which took us quite awhile and we talked abit with the other groups. when we reached sungei buloh, we already broke the ice with a couple of girls from bowen. they were real quiet at first but i was like, talking to them about i duno... anything that came into my head so by that way, we were already talking when we left the bus. lolx.

anyways, when we reached there, we had to leave our things aside and be fitted into our costumes. out of all the other groups, only 4 of us could actually wear it on, as in wear it so we had to go to the COFFEE SHOP to change into our RECYCLED COSTUME. it was the weirdest yet most exciting moment ever. imagine changing at a COFFEE SHOP TOILET. but it was considerably clean and all. the most ambarrasing thing was actually WALKING to the viod deck in that supposed costume. i was close to topless mann. as in, how sercure could a tube get? i'm used to tanktops and the like but tube, with no nothing, no way! the only thing that kept the whole costume from dropping was the zip that was already in it so it was ok. and i used the scarf as a cover up so yepx. we were like, admiring each others' costumes. esp the one from common wealth's. their costume was great! they actually made a dress out of a trashbag and sewed plastic bags of different colours at the bottom to make it flowing and made a hat out of hangers! it was great! but ours wasn't that bad either. next, we had to walk through the interview and talk about our costume. surprisingly, i wasn't as nervous as i thought i would be! i actually joked and chatted with the judges. so not me. after that, they had a prize giving ceremony at the common area or whatever that is. there were all the residents and the partners of the contestants etc. bgss actually got 2nd prize! that means we had CASH! how great was that? but, we had to take alot of pictures for the costumes so we had to pose and pose and pose. but the good thing was that i learnt alot about poly life after talking to their IC and everything. i think shes called grace. she was really friendly and informative about the courses in ngee ann poly etc. after that, we changed out and had to go to the plant hunt and bukit timah hill!

at the hill, we were given a talk about how important bkh was and everything. then, we had a somewhat amazing race kind of thing. it was dead cool. my group even finished the whole thing in record time! we took 15 mins when we were given 1 hr! we even got all the questions correct!!! it was awesome! then, we sat down and ate ice cream. i talked to yan ming and amy and shili and another girl. when we finally got to go to underwater world, we went to the seminar room to play more games. sam was really funny and gave us alot of nice games to play. it was real fun. we even played the game that we played in OBS, harry, mary!!! but this time, the people weren't as sporting and only dotted the places where they wanted to be dotted. it wasn't that fun when it was at OBS. in OBS, everyone was a good sport and dotted eventually. but it was fun all the same. sam also had to have one dot but he erased it off so we called zhen ping and the other SLs to hold him while benny dotted his nose with one BIG dot! lolx. but the worst was one of the er.. duno what sec guys. that guy had seven!!! but yan ming wasn't close behind. so we continued on playing for the rest of the day. at night, just before dinner, we had to watch this documentary. i feel kind of guilty cause i slept halfway. i just took pz's sleeping bag and leaned on it. lolx. everyone was there and they all saw it but i just couldn't help it. with what, 5 days of insufficient sleep. after dinner, we played even more games! until finally, we could tour the underwaterworld and know alot about the marine life there. only after that could be change into our sleeping attire and go to the tunnel.

everyone couldn't sleep! so we all sat in a circle and played t/d... again! it was very fun cause we dared each other to do really dumb things. shili had to ask jeremy to stead her! it was so funny! and he thought it was real! i suppose it is really really very mean but o well. we DID apologize to him! we then went on with tons of truth and we were talking about every single subject until 2 in the morning! it was finally at 2.30 did we actually go back to sleep. yan ming was dead nice. he lent me his boys brigade windbreaker and he only wore his shirt! so i had 3 layers. my tee shirt, mi long sleeved shirt and his jacked plus my jacket to cover my legs. it was dead cold there. dead dead cold.

at 7, we woke up and brushed out teeth got changed, ate breakfast etc. then, we had a quiz and games and went to dolphin lagoon! there, the trainer gave us a talk on how they trained their dolphins and everything. sam was acting like a fool again and kep teasing the trainer, jessica. it was real funny. josh even became the 'dolphin' so that she could demonstrate how they actually did it and everything. we watched the show and could actually touch the dolphin! it was short but nice all the same. after that, we all were dismissed and pz and i made the long way back to bedok again. it was dead fun. but it was short.

obs was obviously, more fun though this camp is actually more relaxed. yepx. thats all for now..
